Traverse Environmental Ltd is proud to announce that we have recently joined forces with Aquanet Consulting Ltd.

Aquanet is a specialist freshwater science consultancy based in Wellington, Palmerston North, and Christchurch.

Aquanet provides a range of scientific, technical, and project management services, with a key focus on the application of freshwater quality and ecology science to resource management processes such as resource consent applications and policy development.  Aquanet also provides water quality and ecological (algae, fish, macroinvertebrates) monitoring services, and operates a laboratory for the processing of macroinvertebrate samples.

Both companies will continue to support our clients in their current form, but we are now operating under a joint venture to build on our respective strengths and to expand our expertise and service offering to clients in planning and freshwater science.

Huka Falls Taupo

We’re turning ONE!

On 1 April 2020, Traverse Environmental celebrated our first year in business. While we settle in and adjust to the new normal of life under COVID-19, it’s a time to reflect on how far we’ve come and what we’ve helped our clients achieve. We have grown to a team of three and we’re currently working with fantastic clients on upwards of 30 exciting and challenging projects. It’s been a busy, and hugely fulfilling 12 months. While each of us has been in the environmental planning sector for many years, it’s great to come together in a new venture and create immediate impact.

And in this difficult time of COVID-19, we have supported Taupō Woman’s Refuge and Taupō Foodbank with a $1,000 donation. We hope this is the first of many opportunities to support organisations doing amazing work in our communities. We hope you’re are staying safe in your bubble.

The team at Traverse Environmental.
