Marlene Noteboom
With a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a minor in Ecology and Conservation from Massey University, Marlene brings a passion for environmental health to Traverse Environmental.
Her previous work as a veterinary care assistant and wildlife conservation volunteer, combined with her academic background, has sparked a particular interest in freshwater health and ecology. She’s excited to continue learning and growing in this field.
In her current role at Traverse, Marlene carries out ecological monitoring and assessments for a range of projects that involve macroinvertebrate, periphyton and water sample collection. She also processes macroinvertebrate samples and assists with data assessment work. She currently project manages the Hawke’s Bay Reimagining Flood Resilience project.
